"OMG! OMG! This place is so fantastic.  We were furniture shopping didn't know where to eat for lunch, looked on google maps, saw this place and golly am I glad we went here!  We nearly drove by it as it really is a HOUSE with a small gravel parking lot to the side. We walked up to the front door, it was locked, I was sad, and we nearly got back in the car but we heard music coming from the side porch and door so we headed there and shazam! Once we walked in- your olfactory senses are greeted by the most amazing aromas and then you're flooded by the warmth and graciousness of the lovely owner, Mona."

"This is a wonderful place to eat, with friendly, personable service and the food. The food!!! My wife had the falafel platter which looked really good, until I tasted it. Best falafel ever. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft, warm and delicious on the inside. Mona told us how she prepares the ingredients, and she prides herself in fresh, quality ingredients that she would serve to her family. By the way, she will make you feel like you are family. She was wonderful."

"This is a hidden gem in Sterling. The food is artfully prepared, and I've never had better middle eastern fare. It's a pleasant setting, in a comfortable and quaintly decorated old home. From the hummus and baba ghanoush to the baklava and rice pudding, and all the entrees, every bite was a delight!"

"It is so worth it to come visit Mona's. You truly feel welcomed into someone's home. Dishes were packed with flavor. I ordered the Shish Taouk and Tabouli salad. Decent portion and super fresh ingredients. My husband got a combo of chicken and beef shawarma platter and he enjoyed it. PS the lemonade + rice pudding with a hint of rose water was on point. They also do Uber Eats so I'm definitely going to order from work."

"What a fun, quirky place! If you go in the front door there is a sign that literally says, "come find Mona in the kitchen!" The food is quite good, and obviously made with love. I had the chicken schwarma and it was tasty. I also had the green beans with tomatoes and they were great. Don't hesitate to try this place!"
